Having worked for Lanview for the last 20 years Emi has grown up with the company and is a respected member of the team both on and off-site. It gives us great pleasure to promote him to the role of Operations Manager.
Below Emi gave us an overview of his work at Lanview and why he’s still here after 20 years!
I started working with Lanview in my 20’s, almost 20 years ago. That’s showing my age! I’m proud of my many achievements from humble beginnings. As many young apprentices to the building trade, I drove a fork-lift and worked as a labourer – working every shift I could. Over the years my skills became more advanced and I grew more confident in my ability, running many of the jobs.
In my new role as Operations Manager, I’ll be continuing to dedicate my time to running projects and managing the onsite teams. It’s a job I love doing.
Favourite part of your job and why?
Working at Lanview feels like being part of a family. We’re a close-knit team where the directors show a real interest in their employees, recognising commitment and hard work. That holds a lot of value for me.
What do you get up to out of work?
The time I do get to unwind out of work, I enjoy being dragged out by my two French bulldogs, Oxy and Luna for woodland walks!
