Some fantastic news here at Lanview this week: The first phase of our refurbishment of Sherbourne House Student Accommodation in Coventry has been successfully handed over. Partnering with the Elite Group in association with Axo Student Living, we’ve been working hard on this complex project to create a great many new studio rooms and a new amenity space, including a gym at Sherbourne House (blocks A, B & C).
Block C (1st phase) has now been completed in what was a critical deadline in terms of having the accommodation ready for students to move into this past weekend (12th September). Out of 95 rooms, the first 36 are now housing new students settling into university life, with the remainder of the rooms during the 2nd/3rd phase expected to be completed later on this year for future use.
Damon Golder, Lanview’s Managing Director says:
“The Elite Group and K2 Consultancy challenged Lanview to deliver the first 36 high-quality en-suite bedrooms in a really short space of time on this complex and difficult project. Despite numerous unforeseen issues, we are immensely proud to have successfully delivered the first phase and see happy students settling in to their brand new accommodation. Personally I would like to express my sincere thanks to each member of the Lanview team, along with our supply chain who made the completion of phase one possible”.
As you can see from the images, the hugely successful project has lived up to the initial CGI vision of how the accommodation should look- we hope the students thoroughly enjoy immersing themselves in student life from their new, cutting-edge digs!
