Here at Lanview we pride ourselves in having worked with a variety of clients over the past 30 years, and building strong relationships with them, one of these being the well-renowned Jardine Motor Group.
Each project with Jardine has encompassed a different brief and set of requirements that set the bar high for us each time, but we’re pleased to say we believe we’ve delivered each time, producing fit-outs that go above-and-beyond design-wise and set the standard for the luxury motor industry.
“At Lanview we are immensely proud of our long-standing relationship with Jardine Motor Group, a client who sell the world’s leading brands when it comes to super cars. Lanview have had the pleasure of working with JMG on dealerships such as Ferrari Sevenoaks , McLaren Knightsbridge , Lamborghini Dunton Green, Aston Martin Cambridge and Porsche East London to name but a few”, explains Lanview MD, Damon Golder.
Steve Pettyfer, Jardine Motor Group’s Group Property Director has previously said:
“I have worked with Lanview over the last 20 years on various projects, including IKEA and most recently Jardine Motors Group. I trust them to deliver their work and represent our high-profile brands, in the right way.
Cost is always an important consideration on projects, as well as a turn-key operative. Lanview offers a one-stop shop, where all the trades can be taken care of by a single contractor. This provides us with one point of contact and responsibility and results in a better, quality outcome – because of the connectivity between the trades”
To celebrate such a longstanding relationship with the Jardine Motor Group, we thought we’d showcase here a selection of some of our favourite collaborations with them …
Porsche East London
Lanview were appointed as Principal Contractor for the conversion of an existing area of the Porsche dealership into an Electric Vehicle service area – something becoming increasingly in demand as clients become more eco-conscious. Our works included adaptation of this area – creating a new opening for access, mechanical & electrical installations, wall linings and internal finishes.
Projects such as these are a sign of the changing times environmentally when it comes to greener motoring, and we’re pleased to be able to adapt our expertise accordingly.
An exciting and detailed project carried out by us, with a complete fit out of the internal space, which divided the existing building into a workshop and showroom at ground floor, and offices and front of house sales suites at mezzanine level. There was an installation of a new, rear extension to form a ground floor storeroom and first floor locker room, consisting of showering and changing facilities. The project also included a full mechanical and electrical installation, flooring and full interior & exterior finishes.
Lanview Quantity Surveyor, Joel Burt, who worked on the project, gives us further insight as to what the project involved:
“It was an extremely interesting and challenging contract, which through a great team effort from all those involved delivered a superb contract. Working closely with the client team at Jardine, ensured that the detailed design elements Ferrari expected, were met. In my opinion these relationships are crucial in getting jobs of this magnitude over the line. It was a real pleasure to work for such a well-established and highly regarded end user, and to see the showroom full of cars and the lights on was a sight to behold”.
Bentley Dunton Green
Works here at Dunton Green included all the mains distribution, containment, power, lighting and emergency lighting and heating.
“After submitting our competitive bid proposal, Lanview were appointed to complete the installation of specialist heating, lighting and power requirements to the temporary workshop facility” Explains Lanview Commercial Director, Duncan Castle.
“This additional facility provided further capacity for servicing both Bentley and Lamborghini customers cars. The works were complete within a very tight programme and budget and although the insulation was for a temporary facility, it was completed to an extremely high standard befitting of prestigious cars it was accommodating.”
Lanview were appointed to assist with an ongoing maintenance issue relating to the concealed Air Conditioning system at this high profile dealership, working around some extremely expensive McLaren cars. Lanview facilitated the works and resolved the issues which meant the staff and customers were not adversely affected.
Lanview have worked closely with Jardine Project Manager, Steve Perry, on a number of projects:
“Having worked with Lanview on a number of our motor retail projects, I have found them to be a very customer facing contractor from the MD through to their Directors, managers and site operatives. Their true value is their ability to work with the client to achieve the required project outcome”.
Working in live environments presented to us by the above projects can be potentially tricky, what with the general public and Jardine staff frequently being on site etc. However we thrive on rising to the challenge and ensuring that our planning and implementation of such projects is spot-on, so each one is smoothly delivered.
We hope to continue our relationship and work with Jardine Motor Group on many more projects in the future.
