This prestigious project was for repeat client, Landmark. The London-based fit out was our largest contract to date with Landmark, with an initial value of £2.8 million. This stunning serviced office fit out is situated in the brand-new Orchard Place building on Victoria Street, just a short walk from St. James’s Park Underground Station.
The project (with a 16-week program) was delivered on time and on budget by our dedicated team, with the fit out being an exciting and innovative new concept and design for Landmark, involving a full Cat B fit out of one of two new towers built on the former site of New Scotland Yard Building.
The works carried out by Lanview across two floors of the building involved the creation of varying-sized celluruised offices, meeting rooms, phone booths, as well as the club space work and break out areas over two complete floors. All partitions were acoustic rated, with voids included below the Raised Access Floor, and the suspended ceilings were also built out to match acoustic requirements.
Fan coil units were altered and repositioned to suit partition layouts, with the sprinkler system also adapted to work with the new layout of all rooms, and to provide void protection above the suspended ceilings. A complete M&E installation was carried out, with new partitions (including glazed partitions), new floor coverings, plus the total decoration of the space including wall tiling.
Lanview were also responsible for the highly detailed joinery within the fit out, including 5 bespoke tea points, bespoke high tables with integrated M&E provisions, a bespoke concierge desk, plus the feature slatted timber ceiling in the club space.
In terms of sustainability, a significant proportion of the furniture used on this project was refurbished and reupholstered.
